The Future of the Paper Money
Andrew Haldane said one solution would be for the Bank of England to issue a state-backed digital currency based on bitcoin. Paper money will be banned entirely?
How long do you think that happens?
would it work?
What security and privacy risks would it raise?

RE: The Future of the Paper Money
This is madness. I saw for example when I was to visit Japan, people are not having a problem if they are losing or forgeting their wallet.

They have a problem if they remain without a battery! ...

Paper money will remain forever!

RE: The Future of the Paper Money
It would be a good idea to replace it but I don't see being replaced anytime soon. I do see it becoming more of an accepted form of currency world wide due to the fact that the value of bitcoin keeps rising.

The world is pushing itself towards the digital cash.

Banks are explain the great inventions in blockchain.

Soon, the paperless money will occupy the world.

This does not mean bitcoin occupies the whole world.
